This was in my psychology book. I thought it might be useful to those who can’t think if gender-neutral terms.
cavemen = cave dwellers
not all prehistoric people were cave dwellers thank you and goodnight
Hi Amanda! Normally I wouldn’t submit stuff to you, but this is kinda long.
So basically I know that the good cause and stuff like that is really important to you and I also know you have a good following here on tumblr so I thought I’d share. One of my favorite people on tumblr, Brooke is part of a project called Rock For Ronan, dedicated to this little boy Ronan Thompson who died of neuroblastoma a few years ago. You can read his mom’s blog (all about Ronan; she started it when he was first diagnosed and still blogs, updating us on her life and how she/her family are dealing with Ronan’s death) here and listen to a song written for Ronan by Maya Thompson (Ronan’s mother) and Taylor Swift, performed by Taylor here
"Rock For Ronan is a compilation album that’s being made to help raise money and awareness for The Ronan Thompson Foundation.” You can read more about the foundation here, but it’s basically a nonprofit created to help raise awareness and find a cure for the childhood cancer neuroblastoma.
All proceeds from Rock For Ronan/specific songs on it go to the Ronan Thompson Foundation. Maya knows about and supports it. Search “Rock For Ronan” on iTunes and you can buy it, or if you just have 99 cents you can buy Brooke’s song Tell Me Why (Maya’s Song) or another one, whatever, either way it’s pretty cheap and helps make a difference.
I totally understand if not, but I (and everyone else who supports RFR) would really appreciate you publishing this so your followers can see!
i hope i never meet a fandom person in real life
New favorite way to get rid of religious ppl O.o
this just in, atheists and the like can not be annoyed by obnoxious superwholocks
also i love how you say “get rid of religious people” as if we’re a collective unit that you dislike every single one of lmao i wouldnt wanna meet y’all either
If you have a child and they are creeped out by a nephew or older brother touching them or looking at them a certain way, you need to have a serious talk with that person and keep them the hell away from your child. Don’t minimize it or tell your kid to hug them anyway, that kid is picking up danger signals they don’t even understand yet. But so many families will tell that kid they are being a brat.
Not just nephews and older brothers. Girl and boy family members alike. In fact I would venture to say especially girl family members because it’s ignored sooooooooooooo much more than boy family members, especially if the kid is a girl too, lots of times it’ll just be seen as the older girl showing her the ropes or helping her out or girl time etc. Just make sure to find out if there’s anything going gone and if there is obviously deal with that and if there isn’t definitely have a serious talk with both of them, the kid about why they feel that way (this is really important; I would know) and the older one about being definitely sensitive and compliant to what the kid is comfortable/uncomfortable with. Family stuff like this gets so mixed up and people don’t know how to handle it, especially parents because they’re so protective of their kids on instinct.
this is better than christmas
he could’ve killed himself or somebody else he did one of the most awful and sefish things a person can do and people are joking about it being a good thing as if this is really about HIM
i stopped coming on this blog because my dash is filled with sjw, fandom wank, ignorance and general stuff that makes me upset! if anyone wants to follow me on my other blog, message me off anon and i’ll private message it to you.

yeah exactly and it makes me mad bc they’re complaining about such bullshit problems when there are people who have actually endured real abuse from their families and who have actual good reasons for not speaking with them or whatever; people just so often misuse and misunderstand the word abuse and it isnt fair to the people theyre accusing
